Bonifacio Global City is very particular and popular for everyone especially for the runners who been here for the big race events. How many times you've been there just to attend running events? This is a great place to run, though many high-rise buildings to see, you still feel the fresh air in the area and there are still part with trees. When it comes to accessibility, pretty accessible because there are shuttle buses located in Ayala Edsa where the only route is going straight to Bonifacio Global City or the more easy to ride thereon, cab. And after the event you can drop by also in different sports outlet located around the area.
Some of the events held in the BGC:
- Adidas King of the Road
- PSE Bull Run 2012
The next event area where very much accessible and where one of the biggest malls in Asia located in Pasay City, the SM Mall of Asia.

SM Mall of Asia is one of the well-known event locations in the running events because of the extent and size of the area that can unleash thousand of runners. One of the most awaited race held this year are 36th National Marathon, RUN UNITED and for the biggest advocacy run held in this area the Kahit Isang Araw Lang. When it comes to route, if the races had a long distance 21k up they extend in Makati City, Bonifacio Global City and along Roxas Blvd., where you can see the scenic view of Manila Bay. And after race there's a mall or place that you can rest or you can go shopping.
If you are looking for a very challenging route and a terrible uphill/ downhill road located within Metropolitan, you can try with your self try to join upcoming races held in McKinley Hill Taguig City.

Though the route is very much interesting but the accessibility to reach this area unlike the previous locations that can easy to go. If you are coming from Edsa the best ride you can choose is a cab or a jeepney from Guadalupe or FTI. This will be one of the organizer's choices when they are organizing a vertical run - I remember one of vertical run held in this area is the Discovery Vertical Run, I don't think if you can beat your personal record once you tried to run this route, but we always said everything is possible once we have a dedication and courage we will survive - Do you believe that the real competitor in races is ourselves?
And the last event location that I want to share is the UP Diliman in Quezon City where you will be closer to our nature.

I also tried once to run in the heart of Quezon City, known because it placed one of the major roads of the Philippines, Commonwealth Avenue. You will enjoy running inside the campus because of the large trees surrounding the entire area, and the best part where most of the runners run is in Sunken Garden - I think one round is equivalent to 4.4k, that was big and if you can do it ten times you can be a marathoner.
Here's the short summary of the running venues this 2012. This was chosen only by the owner of this blog. You are free to share your thoughts and best location where you run.
I preferred to run in Bonifacio Global City!
